We do not use analytics, advertising networks, social media plug-ins or tracking cookies of any kind. The typefaces are served from our own server, so opening a page does not disclose your visit to Google, Adobe or anyone else. We do not profile you and we take no automated decisions about you.
Our host records the usual technical data each time a page is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, browser and operating system. This is necessary to operate the site securely and to investigate faults or attacks. The host is Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland, and the data stays in Switzerland. Logs are deleted on the host's ordinary cycle, within a few months at most.
The site saves three preferences on your own device: the language you chose, whether the music is playing, and whether you have acknowledged this notice. They are technically necessary for the site to behave as you left it, they contain nothing personal, they never reach our server and you can delete them at any time by clearing your browser data.
If you write, call or message us about an event, we process what you tell us — your name, contact details, the date, the place, the number of guests, allergies and wishes — for the sole purpose of preparing and delivering that event. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or the steps taken before entering one. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the commission is live and afterwards for the statutory retention periods under Swiss law, then delete it.
An event involves suppliers: a venue, a producer, occasionally a service partner. We pass on only what each of them needs to do their part, and nothing more. We never sell your data and we never share it for marketing. Nothing is transferred outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA.
This website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection. A TLS certificate protects everything travelling between your browser and our server, which is why the address begins https:// and your browser shows a padlock. Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to the two of us.
Under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection — and under the GDPR where it applies to you — you may ask us what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to a particular use, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to info@loppa.ch and we will answer within thirty days.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern.
